X Feed Needle and Gear Feeding System (Patented) High Efficiency and Stable Operation Powerful Direct Drive Motor and Low Vibration
THE INNOVATION The split bottom feed for needle feed machines.
X-Feed is characterized by a split bottom feed. Due to the alternating movement of both feed dogs, the material is transported continuous and calm.
THE BENEFIT More than 35% lower needle thread tension Stitch length 0–9 mm Continuous and calm feeding Highly improved stitch quality – even on thin materials Highly improved feeding capabilities even on heavy materials Nearly no ply-shift as well as on diffi cult material Harmonic sewing feeling for the operator
THE FUNCTION During the fi rst half stitch length, the needle and the yellow feed dog are transporting the material ( A ). While the needle is leaving the material and is moving forward, the feed dog is moving down and towards the sewing direction. The blue feed dog is now taking over the transport of the second half stitch length and brings the stitch to its end ( B ).
Stages of the stitch formation The needle is entering the material. Both feed dogs are on the same level. Needle and yellow feed dog are feeding the material. The blue feed dog is moving towards the sewing direction below the stitch plate. The needle is leaving the material. The blue feed dog is taking over the transport. Both feed dogs are on the same level.
The blue feed dog is transporting the material. The needle and the yellow feed dog are moving towards the sewing direction. While the blue feed dog is transporting the material in sewing direction, the thread take-up lever is pulling the thread. – An effect that stretches the stitch like on a puller machine. Therefore, the machine can work with a lower thread tension and very even seams can be achieved.
